About the practice
372 Dental has stood at 372 Bury Road in Tonge Moor since 1920. Four generations of Bolton families have walked through the door — and through six waves of dental practice, the building, the address, and the unhurried way patients are looked after have stayed put.
The practice is run by two principal dentists, Dr Stephen Bloor and Dr Ross Mathieson, alongside a small clinical team. We take both NHS-funded and private patients, and we do not run on five-minute appointment slots.

We're old, but we're not stuck. The chair, the X-rays, the materials — all of that has moved on. What hasn't moved on is the assumption that a dentist should know your name, remember which side you grind on, and not rush you out before you've understood the plan.

Where we are
Tonge Moor sits on the north-east edge of Bolton, on the Bury Road corridor that runs out toward Ainsworth and the West Pennine Moors. Stone terraces, Pennine light, a small high-street parade. The practice is part of that parade — same building since 1920.
