New patient exams

A thorough first appointment for adults and families new to the practice — examination, X-rays where indicated, and a clear written plan. Currently £30.

We run new patient exams as a proper sit-down appointment, not a five-minute glance. The dentist takes a full medical and dental history, examines every tooth and the soft tissues, screens for signs that matter (gum disease, decay between teeth, anything that should be watched), and takes the X-rays that are clinically indicated. You leave with a written plan and a clear understanding of what's needed, what's optional, and what each step costs. NHS and private new-patient routes both available — we'll explain which applies to your circumstances.

Treatment 02

General dentistry & check-ups

Routine examinations, fillings, hygienist visits, and the careful long-term care that keeps small problems small. Available on NHS and private terms.

The bulk of what 372 Dental does, day in and day out — six-monthly examinations, hygienist appointments, white and amalgam fillings, simple extractions, and the slow steady work of keeping a mouth healthy through life. We don't sell treatment plans you don't need. Where a tooth is borderline, we'll watch it; where a filling is small, we'll keep it small. Both NHS and private slots are available — we'll be straight with you about which is appropriate.

Treatment 03

Professional teeth whitening

Tray-based whitening done properly — a custom-fit tray made from impressions, professional-grade gel, and clinical supervision through the course.

Whitening is a service the existing 372 Dental site explicitly names — and the type of treatment that goes badly wrong when done over the counter or in a high-street kiosk. We use take-home trays made to your impressions and clinical-grade gel dispensed by the dentist, with a check-in appointment partway through to verify the gum health. Most patients see a meaningful shift over two to three weeks of nightly use. We'll review whether whitening is appropriate at your new patient exam — it isn't suitable for every mouth, and we'll say so if it isn't.

Treatment 04

Private treatments

Crowns, bridges, dentures, and the wider private fee schedule — the work that goes beyond NHS scope. Full schedule confirmed at consultation.

Where treatment falls outside NHS scope — or where a patient prefers a private route for choice of materials, appointment length, or specialist clinician — 372 Dental keeps a published private fee schedule. We'll go through it line by line at your appointment so there are no surprises. We do not aggressively upsell to private from NHS; we recommend private routes only where the clinical case for them is clear. The full fee schedule is currently linked from our existing site under 'Private Fee Schedule' — we'd port it across verbatim once we have it confirmed in writing.
